I’m a lover of light. I’m a traveler. I’m a crafter. I’m a teacher. I’m a designer. I’m a photographer.
I’ve always had an interest in art, design and photography. I remember when I was little, my brother and I used to watch “Mark Kistler’s Imagination Station” on PBS. On summer days, we would sit on the living room floor and draw along with him. My parents always encouraged us to explore our creative sides by taking us to art classes, going to the county fair to see our artwork on display and proudly posting our projects on the front of the refrigerator. (During Christmas time, my mom still displays an art project I made in kindergarten of a snowman.) With that being said, it was no surprise to my parents (or the rest of my family) when I told them I wanted to go to school for graphic design.
During college, I took advantage of some opportunities to work for great companies, such as Reader’s Digest and T. Wall Properties. I’ve also interned and volunteered to do work for organizations like Good Friend, Inc. and Special Olympics. With the knowledge I’ve gained over the years, I feel that I am growing into a well-rounded designer, photographer and person with my own unique style. I’m always trying to create fresh, unique designs and photographs that are personalized for each of my clients.
